“2020 Reserve Chardonnay takes pole position of Narkoojee’s ’20 chardonnays as it feels much lighter, restrained and refreshing, yet flavourful.
Tangy lemon and white nectarine come spiced up with ginger, the oak playing its part but unobtrusively adding a lick of sweeter spices on the finish. Acidity is key to keeping this bopping along nicely.”

The fruit for this wine is selected from our older estate plantings. It was fermented using wild yeasts and matured in a portion of new French oak hogshead barrels in order to maximise complexity.
It is an intensely flavoured and complex wine with a lovely creamy texture and natural mineral acidity. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to seafood dishes and will develop further over the next 5 years or so.
